500g Minced Beef
1 large onion
1 tspn minced garlic
Tspn olive oil
1tspn oregano, Italian herbs or mixed herbs
1 tbspn tomato paste
1 beef stock cube
1 bottle tomato pasata (or 1 can tomatoes)
1 cup water
Pasta of choice (low carb, high fibre, gluten free) or zoodles (zucchini spirals)
Salt & Pepper to taste
Heat olive oil in pan.
Add diced onion and garlic and cook until onion is soft and slightly brown.
Add mince and cook until brown.
Add tomato paste and cook for a further minute.
Add pasata, herbs, stock cube, water and season to taste.
Simmer approximately 30 mins.
In a large pan boil salted water.
When boiling cook pasta as per packet directions, stir occasionally for first few minutes to prevent pasta sticking to itself.
When pasta is cooked drain and serve on to plates.
Add bolognaise sauce to the top of each plate of pasta.
Serve with grated cheese of choice.
