Gourmet Baked Beans
1 x 420g can bean mix or baked beans
1 red onion
½ bunch fresh basil
1 avocado (optional if in season)
Salt and pepper to taste
Toast for serving
Finely dice tomato, onion and avocado (if using).
Add chopped or torn basil leaves, salt and pepper and mix to combine.
Heat beans and add to mix, serve while hot on toasted multigrain or sourdough bread (or gluten free bread).
